Yard Sales 101 This course should more than pay for itself in increased sales. Jim Wright will show you how to get more out of your garage sale in sales and proper signage. He will also cover how to buy at a garage sale and save-or even make money doing so.
Basic Computer Operations This is a beginning class for the student with minimal knowledge of computers. As a student you will receive a general introduction to the computer system.The Windows 7 and XP environment will be introduced, along with beginning instruction on word processing. The World Wide Web will be explored at an entry level. Come join this course and get your computer questions answered. You will have the opportunity to practice new skills with the support of a skilled, experienced instructor.
Basic Computer 2This class will continue Computer Basic 1. However, you may enroll without taking the Basic 1 class. The course will cover such topics as working with Windows 7 and XP, managing your files, creating, copying, deleting, and editing folders. There will also be opportunities to cover student's choice of topics.
Intro To Quickbooks Pro 2010 This course will cover features needed to manage a small business. You will learn how to create a company data file, chart of accounts, list of vendors, customers, as well as, how to do a bank reconciliation, enter cash sales, enter and pay bills, receive payments, deposit payments, generate reports, and back up data files. Advanced skills such as payroll and inventory will be touched on briefly. Students must have fundamental computer knowledge in order to take this class. This includes how to set up folders and utilize various drives.
Basic PC Troubleshooting What steps can you take BEFORE calling an expensive technical support agent? Fix your computer by yourself! Basic troubleshooting doesn’t take a degree! If you know how to use a mouse and surf the net, you can fix your own PC. Ninety percent of the PC problems can be fixed with the most basic steps that anyone can do in just a few minutes. Out of warranty tech support could cost you $45 an hour and take hours and multiple calls. By surfing the net and following the most basic steps, anyone can be successful with Basic PC Troubleshooting. Students will need to bring their own laptop/notebook to class.
Learn to Create A Web Page This course will introduce students to fundamental skills needed to create simple web sites using an inexpensive or free web composing program. It will be a very basic class for those who might want to create a website at home for personal use. This course will cover the following topics:
