| New Horizons Alternative School uses the NovaNET competency-based computer curriculum. NovaNET offers thousands of hours of self-paced instruction from basic skills to advanced learning in 100 subject areas. The curricula can be fully customized to meet very specific district needs. The NovaNET system is also correlated to the Missouri Show-Me standards. In addition, the NovaNet system's unique cross platform delivery works seamlessly with a wide-area-network allowing shared access to curricula. NovaNet is endorsed by the Missouri School Boards' Association (MSBA).
